Playlist (Geri Halliwell album)

Playlist is the third studio album by English singer Geri Halliwell, released on May 9, 2005, by EMI Records. The album represented a shift in Halliwell's musical style, incorporating more pop and dance influences compared to her previous Britpop-leaning efforts.

The album's production involved collaborations with several songwriters and producers, including Cathy Dennis, Greg Kurstin, and Stephen Lipson. Playlist was preceded by the lead single "Ride It", which reached number four on the UK Singles Chart. A second single, "Desire", was released in June 2005 and peaked at number 22 in the UK.

Playlist received mixed reviews from music critics, with some praising Halliwell's move towards a more contemporary sound, while others criticized the album's lack of originality and perceived reliance on current trends. Commercially, the album performed moderately well, reaching number nine on the UK Albums Chart. Despite not achieving the same level of success as her debut album, Schizophonic, Playlist further solidified Halliwell's position as a solo artist. The album also included a hidden track, "100% Pure Love", which was accessible through an interactive element on the CD. The album failed to chart in other major international markets.
