Philip Woodward (judge)

Philip Woodward was an Australian judge who served on the Federal Court of Australia. He is best known for chairing the Royal Commission into Drug Trafficking, which reported in 1979. This inquiry investigated the drug trade in Australia and made recommendations that significantly shaped drug policy and law enforcement strategies in the country.
