Pengkalan Hulu (state constituency)

Pengkalan Hulu is a state constituency in Perak, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Perak State Legislative Assembly.

The constituency was created in 1974 and is mandated to return a single member to the Perak State Legislative Assembly under the first-past-the-post voting system. The current State Assemblyman for Pengkalan Hulu is Aznel Ibrahim from the UMNO party, which is part of the ruling coalition.

Pengkalan Hulu is situated in the northernmost part of Perak, bordering Thailand. The economy of the area is largely based on agriculture and tourism.
