Parenago (crater)

Parenago is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the northwest of the huge walled plain Gagarin, and southwest of Keeler.

The outer rim of Parenago is heavily eroded and somewhat irregular. Several small craters lie along the rim edge, and the inner walls are marked with terraces. The interior floor is relatively level, but is marked by several small craterlets. A small, bowl-shaped crater lies across the southern part of the floor, nearly touching the inner wall.
