Ozza Mons

Ozza Mons is a massive shield volcano on the planet Venus. It is located in the Atla Regio region, a large upland area characterized by volcanic features and extensional tectonics.

Ozza Mons is notable for its exceptionally large size and complex morphology. It is approximately 240 miles (390 kilometers) in diameter and rises to an elevation of about 3 miles (5 kilometers) above the surrounding plains. While the exact age of Ozza Mons is not precisely known, its relatively pristine surface compared to some other volcanic features on Venus suggests that it is geologically young, possibly having experienced volcanic activity within the last few hundred million years.
