Bojangles (film)
Bojangles is a 2022 French biographical drama film directed by Régis Roinsard, based on the novel Waiting for Bojangles by Olivier Bourdeaut. The film tells the story of Georges, a man who falls deeply in love with the eccentric and unpredictable Camille. Their passionate and unconventional life, filled with parties and fantasy, is increasingly challenged by Camille's mental instability. As her behavior becomes more erratic, Georges struggles to maintain their idyllic world and protect their son, Gary, from the harsh realities of Camille's illness. The film stars Romain Duris as Georges and Virginie Efira as Camille. It explores themes of love, mental illness, family, and the lengths one will go to preserve happiness in the face of adversity.
