Otívar is a municipality located in the province of Granada, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. It lies in the comarca of Costa Tropical.

The village is located near the Sierra de Almijara, Tejeda y Alhama Natural Park. The river Verde (Green River) flows near the village.
