ORP Kaszub (1987)
ORP Kaszub was a Polish Navy corvette. Laid down in 1984 and commissioned in 1987, it was a single-ship class designed and built domestically at the Northern Shipyard in Gdańsk. The ship served as a training vessel and performed various patrol and support duties. While officially designated a corvette (Polish: korweta), some sources classify it as a small frigate due to its size and armament. Kaszub was notable for being the first warship designed and built entirely in Poland since World War II. It was decommissioned in 2017 and is preserved as a museum ship in Gdynia.
