Nokia E70
The Nokia E70 is a clamshell-design smartphone released by Nokia in 2006. Part of the Eseries line of business-oriented devices, it was notable for its full QWERTY keyboard revealed when the phone was opened horizontally. It ran on the Symbian OS version 9.1, with the Series 60 3rd Edition user interface.
Key features of the Nokia E70 included integrated Wi-Fi (802.11g), Bluetooth, and a 2-megapixel camera. It supported GSM, EDGE, and UMTS (3G) networks, allowing for relatively fast data connectivity at the time of its release. It also featured email support, including compatibility with popular protocols like POP3, IMAP, and SMTP.
The phone's primary display was a 2.1-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 352x416 pixels. Its internal memory was limited, but it supported expandable storage via a miniSD card slot. The device was targeted at professionals who needed a mobile device for email, web browsing, and document editing while on the move. The keyboard design aimed to provide a more comfortable typing experience compared to traditional numeric keypads.
