Neo (Hungarian band)

Neo is a Hungarian electronic music band formed in Budapest in 1996. Their music is characterized by a blend of trip-hop, electronica, and alternative rock, often incorporating elements of jazz and world music.

The band originally consisted of founding members Milkovics Mátyás (vocals, keyboards, programming) and Hoffmann Gábor (bass, guitar, programming). Over the years, the lineup has seen changes, with Milkovics Mátyás remaining the central and consistent figure.

Neo gained initial recognition in the late 1990s and early 2000s with their distinctive sound and live performances. They have released several albums, including Mapping the Route (2000), Controller (2004), and The Picture (2008). Their music has been featured in various films and commercials, contributing to their international exposure.
