Neil Smit

Neil Smit is an American business executive. He is known for his leadership roles in the telecommunications and entertainment industries.

Smit served as the President and CEO of Comcast Cable from 2010 to 2017. In this role, he oversaw Comcast's cable operations, including video, high-speed internet, and voice services. Under his leadership, Comcast focused on enhancing its customer experience and expanding its broadband infrastructure.

Prior to joining Comcast, Smit served as CEO of Charter Communications. He has also held various leadership positions in other companies, including Nabisco and Pillsbury.

Smit is a graduate of Duke University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He also served as a Navy SEAL. He has served on the boards of various organizations.
