Nate Kmic
Nate Kmic (born c. 1982) is a former American college football player. He is best known for his record-setting career as a running back for the Mount Union Purple Raiders, an NCAA Division III football program.
Kmic played for Mount Union from 2005 to 2008. During his tenure, he helped lead the Purple Raiders to four consecutive national championships. He set numerous NCAA Division III records, including career rushing yards (8,894), career rushing touchdowns (126), and career all-purpose yards (9,499). He was a four-time All-American and was named the Gagliardi Trophy winner in 2008, an award recognizing the most outstanding football player in NCAA Division III.
Kmic's performance at Mount Union earned him widespread recognition and established him as one of the most dominant players in Division III football history. After college, he pursued opportunities in professional football but did not achieve significant success at that level. He remains a notable figure in Mount Union football history and a symbol of excellence within the Division III athletic landscape.
