Ed Gordon (long jumper)
Ed Gordon (born May 18, 1908, Jackson, Mississippi, USA – died September 5, 1971, Detroit, Michigan, USA) was an American long jumper who competed in the 1928 Summer Olympics and the 1932 Summer Olympics.
In 1928 he finished seventh in the long jump event. Four years later, at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics, he won the bronze medal in the long jump. Gordon's Olympic bronze medal was one of four medals won by African Americans in track and field events at the 1932 Games. He represented the University of Michigan.
