Comikaze

Comikaze, also known as Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo (SLCC), was an annual multi-media convention held in Los Angeles, California, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It was founded in 2011 by Regina Carpinelli and initially branded as Comikaze Expo. The convention focused primarily on comic books, science fiction, fantasy, horror, gaming, anime, and pop culture. Stan Lee, the legendary comic book writer and editor, became a partner in the convention in 2012, leading to its rebranding as Stan Lee's Comikaze.

The convention typically featured celebrity guests, panels, workshops, screenings, exhibitors, and artists' alley. Attendees could purchase merchandise, meet their favorite creators, and participate in cosplay contests. SLCC aimed to be a large-scale, inclusive event catering to a diverse range of fandoms.

In 2016, Comikaze was acquired by Comikaze Entertainment Inc., a subsidiary of Wizard World Inc. Following the acquisition, the convention's name was changed to Wizard World Comic Con Los Angeles. Under Wizard World's ownership, the focus shifted, and the event eventually ceased being held. The final Wizard World Comic Con Los Angeles took place in 2019.
