Nasisten
Nasisten is the Dutch plural form of the word "Nasi," which refers to a dish of fried rice, often originating from Indonesian or Malay cuisine. It is commonly used in the Netherlands due to historical colonial ties with Indonesia. The term encompasses various fried rice dishes, usually featuring cooked rice that has been stir-fried in a wok or frying pan and mixed with ingredients such as vegetables, meat, seafood, eggs, spices, and sweet soy sauce (ketjap manis). Different variations of nasi exist, distinguished by their specific ingredients and preparation methods.
