Mooi River (town)

Mooi River is a town situated in the uMgungundlovu District Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is located on the N3 highway, approximately halfway between Johannesburg and Durban. The town's name is derived from the Afrikaans translation of the Zulu name "Mvelwenkomo," meaning "beautiful river" or "place of the cattle."
