The Wilsons (album)
The Wilsons is the self-titled debut album by American family musical group The Wilsons. Released in 1997 on Interscope Records, the album featured a contemporary R&B sound with elements of gospel and pop. The group consisted of brothers Andrew, Jonathan, and Ricky Wilson, who are also siblings of singer Carnie Wilson and Wendy Wilson of the pop group Wilson Phillips.
While not a major commercial success, The Wilsons garnered some attention for its smooth harmonies and positive lyrical themes. Singles from the album included "Room to Breathe," which received moderate airplay. The album featured production from notable figures in the R&B and pop music industries. Despite the pedigree of the Wilson name, and the involvement of established producers, The Wilsons did not achieve widespread popularity and remains a relatively obscure release.
