Montparnasse Bienvenue (film)

Montparnasse Bienvenue, also known internationally as Jeune Femme (Young Woman), is a 2017 French drama film directed by Léonor Serraille. It stars Laetitia Dosch as Paula, a young woman struggling to rebuild her life in Paris after a decade-long relationship abruptly ends. The film explores themes of female identity, independence, and the challenges of navigating modern urban life.

Paula, lacking stable housing or financial resources, wanders through the city, encountering a variety of individuals and precarious situations. She takes on odd jobs, from babysitting to working as a saleswoman, while grappling with feelings of displacement and uncertainty.
