Henry Balfour (politician)
Henry Balfour (1854 – 1936) was a British Conservative Party politician. He served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Christchurch from 1885 to 1900.
Balfour was born in 1854. He was educated at Eton College and New College, Oxford. He entered Parliament in the 1885 general election, successfully contesting the Christchurch constituency. He held the seat for fifteen years, eventually losing it in the 1900 general election. His political activities after losing his seat are not widely documented.
Balfour died in 1936.
