Miwa Ueda

Miwa Ueda (上田 美和, Ueda Miwa, born March 28, 1960) is a Japanese manga artist, predominantly known for creating shōjo manga (manga aimed at a young female audience). Ueda is best known for her long-running series Peach Girl, which was serialized in Bessatsu Friend magazine from 1997 to 2003. Peach Girl achieved significant popularity, spawning an anime adaptation, a Taiwanese drama adaptation, and a Japanese live-action film adaptation. Other notable works by Ueda include Oh!
