Chamla
Chamla is a historical administrative region located in the Swat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. It lies north of Besham and east of Alpuri in the Shangla District. Historically, Chamla was known for its distinct cultural identity and local traditions, particularly related to Pashtunwali. The area is largely mountainous and rural, with agriculture being a primary occupation for its inhabitants. The main language spoken in Chamla is Pashto. The region has seen improvements in infrastructure and education in recent years, but challenges related to access to resources and development persist.
