Mike Vellucci

Mike Vellucci is a professional ice hockey coach and former player. He is known for his extensive coaching career spanning various leagues including the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), the American Hockey League (AHL), and the National Hockey League (NHL).

Vellucci's coaching highlights include leading the Plymouth Whalers of the OHL to the J. Ross Robertson Cup championship in 2007. He has also earned recognition for his work developing young players and contributing to their advancement to higher levels of professional hockey. In the AHL, he won the Louis A.R. Pieri Memorial Award as the AHL's most outstanding coach during the 2018-19 season while coaching the Charlotte Checkers.
