Tejano (film)

Tejano is a 2018 American drama film directed by David Blue Garcia and starring Patrick Mackie, Ricardo Antonio Chavira, and Mayra Leal. The film follows Harley, a young man struggling to provide for his ailing grandfather in South Texas. Driven to desperate measures, Harley becomes entangled in the dangerous world of drug trafficking along the US-Mexico border. The film explores themes of family, loyalty, and the economic pressures facing individuals in border communities. Tejano premiered at the Dallas International Film Festival in April 2018 and received the Grand Jury Prize.
