Mendig (Verbandsgemeinde)

Mendig is a Verbandsgemeinde (collective municipality) in the district of Mayen-Koblenz, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. A Verbandsgemeinde is a type of administrative division common in Rhineland-Palatinate and some other German states. It is a collective municipality that groups together several independent municipalities (Ortsgemeinden) to jointly perform certain administrative tasks.

The seat of the Verbandsgemeinde administration is in Mendig.
