Max Homa
Max Homa (born November 19, 1990) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He is known for his engaging personality, self-deprecating humor, and strong social media presence.
Homa was born in Burbank, California and attended Valencia High School. He played college golf at the University of California, Berkeley, where he won the 2013 NCAA Division I Men's Individual Championship.
He turned professional in 2013 and initially struggled to maintain his PGA Tour card. However, he regained his form and secured his first PGA Tour victory at the 2019 Wells Fargo Championship. He has since added multiple PGA Tour titles to his resume, including the 2021 Genesis Invitational, the 2021 Fortinet Championship, the 2022 Wells Fargo Championship, the 2022 Fortinet Championship, the 2023 Farmers Insurance Open, and the 2023 Nedbank Golf Challenge.
Homa has also represented the United States in international competitions, including the 2022 Presidents Cup, where he was a member of the winning American team. He is currently recognized as one of the leading players on the PGA Tour. Beyond his playing career, Homa is actively involved in charitable endeavors and frequently uses his platform to engage with fans and promote the game of golf.
