Gillespie Road

Gillespie Road is a residential street located in the Highbury area of the London Borough of Islington, England. It is situated parallel to and east of Arsenal Stadium (formerly Highbury), the historic home of Arsenal Football Club.

The road is primarily known for its close association with the football club. During Arsenal's time at Highbury (1913-2006), Gillespie Road was a focal point for fans arriving and departing matches. Local businesses on the street and in the surrounding area thrived on match days.
