Mawtaung
Mawtaung is a border town located in the Tanintharyi Region of Myanmar (Burma). It sits directly on the border with Thailand, adjacent to the Thai town of Sing Khon. Mawtaung serves as a significant border crossing point between the two countries, facilitating trade and travel. The area is primarily known for its mountainous terrain and its importance as a transit route.
