Matt Swarmer

Matt Swarmer is an American professional baseball pitcher. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago Cubs.

Swarmer attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, where he played college baseball. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 19th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft.

He spent several years in the minor leagues, working his way through the Yankees' and later the Cubs' farm systems. He made his Major League debut with the Chicago Cubs on May 29, 2022.

Swarmer is a right-handed pitcher. His repertoire typically includes a fastball, slider, and changeup.
