Mark Metcalf (politician)

Mark Metcalf is a former Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 30th Assembly District from 2007 to 2011. The 30th district included parts of La Crosse County.

Metcalf served on several Assembly committees during his tenure, including those related to agriculture, natural resources, and rural affairs. His legislative priorities often focused on environmental protection, sustainable agriculture, and support for local communities. He was known for his work on issues related to water quality and conservation in the La Crosse area.

Prior to his service in the Assembly, Metcalf worked as a farmer. After leaving the Assembly, he has remained involved in local politics and community initiatives. He sought a return to the Assembly in 2012, but was unsuccessful.
