Luis Prieto (footballer, born 1979)

Luis Prieto (born November 19, 1979) is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a centre-back.

Prieto began his career with Real Madrid's youth system, eventually playing for Real Madrid B. He then moved to other Spanish clubs, including Real Valladolid, where he spent several seasons and became a key player. He also played for Espanyol, Tenerife, and Córdoba.

Throughout his career, Prieto was known for his defensive abilities, aerial prowess, and leadership qualities on the pitch. He primarily featured in La Liga and Segunda División, the top two tiers of Spanish football.

After retiring from professional football, Prieto has been involved in coaching and football management.
