Brunkeberg (Telemark)
Brunkeberg is a village and former municipality in Telemark county, Norway. It is located in the traditional region of Vest-Telemark.
The municipality of Brunkeberg existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1964. It was then merged into the larger municipality of Kviteseid. During its time as an independent municipality, Brunkeberg was primarily an agricultural area.
The village of Brunkeberg is situated along the Brunkeberg River, and is known for its historic church, Brunkeberg Church, which dates back to the 18th century. The church is a notable example of Norwegian wooden architecture.
Brunkeberg is also a point of interest for those travelling between Seljord and Kviteseid, as it lies on the main road connecting the two settlements.
