Love of My Life (Japanese TV series)

Love of My Life (人生が、ときめく片付けの魔法, Jinsei ga, Tokimeku Katazuke no Mahō) is a Japanese television drama series that aired in 2019. The series is based on Marie Kondo's best-selling book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing.

The show follows the story of Tokimasa "Tokimeku" Matori, played by Hayato Ichihara, a man inspired by Kondo's philosophy to help others declutter their homes and, in turn, their lives. He is portrayed as a quirky and somewhat eccentric character who passionately believes in the power of tidying to bring joy.

Each episode typically features Tokimeku assisting a different client or family facing various challenges related to clutter, disorganization, and emotional attachment to possessions. Through the process of KonMari, he guides them to identify what truly "sparks joy" and to respectfully thank and discard items that no longer serve a purpose.
