Lost & Found (Peter Brötzmann album)

Lost & Found is a 2017 live album by German free jazz saxophonist Peter Brötzmann. The album features a performance by Brötzmann's quartet consisting of himself on tenor saxophone, Toshinori Kondo on trumpet, William Parker on bass, and Hamid Drake on drums. The concert was recorded on July 21, 1987, at the Ulrichsberg Kaleidophon Festival in Austria. The album captures a performance of intense and energetic free improvisation characteristic of Brötzmann's work and the broader free jazz scene. It was released on the Trost label. The album title references the fact that the recording itself was "lost" and then subsequently rediscovered.
