Little Man Tate (band)
Little Man Tate were an indie rock band from Sheffield, England, formed in 2005. The band consisted of Jon Windle (vocals, guitar), Edward 'Manny' Clayton (guitar, vocals), Joe Green (bass guitar) and Dan Lyons (drums). They were known for their energetic live performances and catchy, guitar-driven songs.
The band's name was taken from the 1991 film of the same name, directed by Jodie Foster.
Little Man Tate released two studio albums: About What You Know (2007) and Nothings Changed (2008). They also released several singles, including "The Agent", "House Party At Rita's", and "Sexy In Latin".
The band toured extensively in the UK and Europe, playing at numerous festivals including Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, and T in the Park.
Little Man Tate announced their split in 2009, citing musical differences as the reason. Following the breakup, members pursued various other musical projects. In 2020, the band reformed for a reunion tour, playing sold-out shows across the UK.
