Lee Ridley (footballer)
Lee Ridley (born 20 October 1971) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender.
Ridley began his career as a trainee with Newcastle United, turning professional in 1989. He did not make a first-team appearance for Newcastle and moved to Carlisle United in 1993. He made over 50 league appearances for Carlisle before joining Hartlepool United in 1996. He played a significant role in Hartlepool's defense for several seasons, accumulating over 150 league appearances. After his time with Hartlepool, he moved to non-league football, playing for clubs such as Blyth Spartans. Following his playing career, Ridley transitioned into coaching roles, working with youth teams and in community football programs.
