Lars Larsson (athlete)
Lars Larsson (born 17 June 1911, died 29 January 1993) was a Swedish cross-country skier who competed in the 1930s and 1940s. He was most successful at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen where he won a bronze medal in the 4 x 10 km relay. Individually, he finished 13th in the 18 km event at the same Olympics. Larsson also competed at the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz, finishing 23rd in the 18 km event. Beyond the Olympics, Larsson achieved further success in national and international skiing competitions, though specific details are less readily available. He represented the IFK Umeå sports club throughout his career.
