Harry Chapman (footballer, born 1997)

Harry Chapman (born 5 November 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger.

Career

Chapman began his career in the youth system at Middlesbrough. He progressed through the ranks and signed his first professional contract in 2015. He never made a senior appearance for Middlesbrough in the Premier League or Championship.

Chapman has undertaken several loan spells to gain first-team experience. These include spells at Barnsley (2015-2016), Sheffield United (2016-2017), Oldham Athletic (2017), Blackburn Rovers (2018-2019), and Shrewsbury Town (2019-2020).

Following his departure from Middlesbrough, Chapman signed for Blackburn Rovers permanently in January 2019 after a successful loan spell.

On August 24, 2020, Chapman joined Shrewsbury Town on a season-long loan.
