Alexander Kharitonov (ice hockey)

Alexander Yuryevich Kharitonov (born November 4, 1976, in Moscow, Soviet Union) is a Russian former professional ice hockey player. A right winger, Kharitonov played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Vancouver Canucks from 2000 to 2003, appearing in 147 regular season games.

Prior to playing in North America, Kharitonov played in the Russian Superleague (RSL) for HC Dynamo Moscow. After his NHL stint, he returned to Russia, playing in the RSL and later the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) for teams including Dynamo Moscow, Avangard Omsk, CSKA Moscow, and Traktor Chelyabinsk.

Kharitonov also represented Russia internationally, participating in several World Championships. He was known for his speed and offensive skills. His playing career spanned over two decades.
