Lahutā
Lahutā (लहुता) refers to the concept of levity or lightness in Sanskrit and related Indic languages. It signifies an absence of heaviness, both physically and metaphorically.
In physical contexts, Lahutā can describe the quality of being easily lifted or carried. It is the opposite of gurutā (heaviness).
Metaphorically, Lahutā represents a state of mental or emotional lightness, freedom from burdens, and ease of movement. It can also denote a sense of spiritual transcendence, detachment from worldly attachments, and an unburdened spirit. In yogic philosophy, Lahutā is sometimes considered a siddhi (accomplishment) achieved through dedicated practice, enabling the practitioner to attain a state of lightness and agility. The concept appears in discussions related to the qualities of the siddhis in various Yoga texts.
