L'Olleria

L'Olleria is a municipality located in the comarca of Vall d'Albaida, in the province of Valencia, Valencian Community, Spain. It is situated at the foot of the Serra Grossa mountain range and is known for its tradition in the manufacturing of ceramics, particularly roof tiles and bricks.

The town's economy is largely based on industry, particularly the ceramics sector, with agriculture playing a secondary role. Historically, agriculture was more prominent, with crops like olives, almonds, and carob trees being cultivated.

L'Olleria has a rich cultural heritage, with several historical sites, including the parish church of Santa Maria Magdalena, and traditional festivals throughout the year. The local language is Valencian, a variant of Catalan. The population is estimated to be around 8,500 inhabitants.
