Kuala Rajang (federal constituency)
Kuala Rajang was a federal constituency in Sarawak, Malaysia, that was represented in the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) from 1971 to 2008.
It was created in 1968 and first contested in the 1969 general election (though elections were delayed until 1970 in Sarawak). The constituency was abolished in the 2008 redistribution of electoral boundaries, and its component areas were redistributed into the Igan and Tanjung Manis constituencies.
Kuala Rajang was known as a rural constituency with a significant Iban population. Throughout its existence, it was predominantly held by parties affiliated with the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition.
