Koipsi
Koipsi is a small, uninhabited island located in the Gulf of Finland, part of Estonia. It belongs to the municipality of Viimsi and is administratively part of Harju County. The island's landscape is primarily rocky and covered with sparse vegetation, consisting mainly of grasses and low shrubs. Koipsi is known for its birdlife and is considered an important nesting area for various seabird species. Due to its protected status, access may be restricted to certain areas or during specific times of the year to minimize disturbance to the breeding birds. Koipsi is also sometimes referenced in connection with navigational history of the area. The island's name, like many geographical names in Estonia, likely has roots in historical dialects or earlier languages spoken in the region.
