Knivsflå

Knivsflå is a prominent viewpoint and former farm located in the Stranda Municipality of Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Situated on a steep mountainside overlooking the Geirangerfjord, it offers stunning panoramic views of the fjord and the surrounding mountains.

The farm was abandoned in 1898, primarily due to the constant threat of landslides and the dangers involved in daily life.

Today, Knivsflå is accessible by boat and then a challenging uphill hike. The hike is known for its steep incline and requires a reasonable level of fitness. The path is well-maintained but can be slippery in wet conditions.
