Jack Gordon (Mississippi politician)

Jack Gordon (born circa 1922, died December 11, 2006) was an American politician from Mississippi. He served as a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives for District 22, representing Clay and Lowndes counties.

Gordon was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was a businessman and farmer before entering politics. He was elected to the Mississippi House in 1980 and served until his retirement in 2004.

During his time in the legislature, Gordon served on several committees, including Appropriations, Agriculture, and Banking and Financial Services. He was known for his advocacy for rural development and agricultural issues. He also supported improvements to education and infrastructure in his district. He was considered a moderate Democrat.
