Kirikou (video game)

Kirikou is a platform adventure video game based on the animated film Kirikou and the Sorceress (1998). The game was developed and published by Wanadoo Edition and released in 2001 for the PlayStation and Game Boy Color.

The game follows the character Kirikou as he journeys through his African village and surrounding lands to confront the evil sorceress Karaba and rescue his people. Gameplay typically involves platforming elements such as jumping, climbing, and avoiding obstacles. Kirikou uses his small size and cunning to overcome challenges, often relying on stealth and problem-solving rather than direct combat.

The PlayStation version features 3D graphics and environments, while the Game Boy Color version presents the gameplay in a 2D, side-scrolling format. Both versions aim to recreate the visual style and themes of the original film.
