Kim Hyuk-kyu (politician)

Kim Hyuk-kyu (born April 20, 1939) is a South Korean politician. He served as the 29th Governor of South Gyeongsang Province from 1993 to 1998. Prior to his governorship, he held various positions in the South Korean government, primarily within the Ministry of Home Affairs (now the Ministry of the Interior and Safety). He is a member of the Democratic Liberal Party (and its successor parties). He was also a member of the 15th National Assembly representing Hadong. Kim Hyuk-kyu's political career spanned a period of significant economic and political development in South Korea.
