Kevin Sullivan (politician)
Kevin Sullivan (born August 7, 1949) is an American politician and academic administrator from the state of Connecticut. He served as the 107th Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut from 2004 to 2007, succeeding Jodi Rell when she became Governor following the resignation of John Rowland.
Sullivan began his political career in the Connecticut State Senate, representing the 5th District. He served as President Pro Tempore of the Senate for several terms, demonstrating his leadership abilities within the Democratic party. His legislative work focused on areas such as education, healthcare, and economic development.
Following his tenure as Lieutenant Governor, Sullivan held the position of Senior Fellow at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where he has been involved in teaching and research related to public policy and government.
