Kennedy baronets of Johnstown Kennedy (1836)
The Kennedy baronets of Johnstown Kennedy, County Dublin, was a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 18 July 1836 for John Kennedy. The Kennedys were a prominent Irish family.
Sir John Kennedy, 1st Baronet (died 1841), was succeeded by his son, Sir John Kennedy, 2nd Baronet (1824-1879). The 2nd Baronet served as High Sheriff of County Dublin in 1850. He was succeeded by his son, Sir John Charles Kennedy, 3rd Baronet (1856-1914), who served as High Sheriff of County Kildare in 1895. The title became extinct upon the death of the 3rd Baronet without male issue in 1914.
The family seat was Johnstown Kennedy, near Rathcoole, County Dublin.
