Ken Goodwin (RAF officer)

Ken Goodwin was a Royal Air Force (RAF) officer during the Second World War, notable for his role in escaping from Stalag Luft III, the prisoner-of-war camp later made famous by the book and film The Great Escape. Goodwin was one of the 76 men who successfully escaped through the tunnels "Tom," "Dick," and "Harry" on the night of March 24–25, 1944. However, like most of the escapees, he was later recaptured. He survived the war and returned to the UK. Further biographical details on Goodwin are scarce, highlighting the varying levels of documentation for individual participants in this historical event.
