Jurassic Park (film)

Jurassic Park is a 1993 American science fiction adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Gerald R. Molen. It is based on the 1990 novel of the same name by Michael Crichton, who also co-wrote the screenplay with David Koepp.

The film centers on a theme park populated with cloned dinosaurs, created by genetic engineers working for the wealthy philanthropist John Hammond. Before the park can open to the public, Hammond invites a group of experts to evaluate its safety: paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant, paleobotanist Dr. Ellie Sattler, and mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm. Accompanied by Hammond's grandchildren, Lex and Tim Murphy, the group tours the park.

Sabotage by a disgruntled employee named Dennis Nedry leads to the park's security systems being deactivated, allowing the dinosaurs to escape their enclosures and endangering everyone on the island. The film follows the survivors as they struggle to escape the park and survive the dinosaur onslaught.
